Inspired Bronze recently created the ‘Oliver Award’ for the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation. The Oliver Award is presented to approximately 200 recipients each year, who contribute more than $1,000 annually, provide exceptional personal or corporate service, and help support the organizations goals.

The UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation (UHCCF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) public charity that strives to enhance either the clinical condition or quality of life of children who have health care needs not covered, or not fully covered, by their commercial health benefit plan. UHCCF provides medical grants of up to $5,000 annually per child ($10,000 lifetime maximum per child) for costs associated with medical services and equipment. UHCCF’s funding is provided by contributions from individuals, corporations and UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH) employees.

“Inspired Bronze was selected for their creativity and artistic contributions, to bring Oliver alive in a three-dimensional statue award. Their customer service, attention-to-detail, and ability to partner with us to establish an award that would be coveted by all was exceptional,” says Scott Mitchell, Adventure Advertising, which headed the project for UHCF.

Inspired Bronze modeled the custom Oliver Award after Oliver the bear and Hope the butterfly; the main characters in the Oliver & Hope™ children’s book series by UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation. The design was handcrafted into a three-dimensional model and cast in pewter. Custom awards are delivered annually to all recipients with a hand-addressed letter from the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation president.

“This project was particularly special because it honors those who help the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation’s mission, helping families and children in need. It was a pleasure working with Adventure Advertising, and we look forward to continue doing so,” says Inspired Bronze owner.
